Week 8 #18 Zoho Writer

I don't know why Zoho.Writer is blocked on our learn.net computers. The webmarshall finds that it contains "inappropriate content" and knowing I don't have enough time for blogging, I feel like I am about to have a very bad hair day. I am hoping I can be able to access Zoho.Writer on my workstation when i get a chance.
I only used google.docs once. I remember there was one unhappy customer who was not able to open one saved document on her disk. Luckily, there was eyezon275 who showed me how to upload her document on google.docs. It worked and the customer left the library with a smile.

Week 7 #17 - Social Networking

I have an account on face book and knowing bebo is a popular site for our customers, I decided to create an account to find out why so many people spend most of their valuable time on one such a site.
Okay, I got me an account...what next? Knowing eyezon275 is a bebo addict she was there to the rescue. WOW, I really loved the end result. I got to add her to my profile and add a few pictures of my trip to Roma. And it's a wonder bebo is a very popular site. Thanks a God for this discovery exercise because I have learnt a much fun networking site than facebook. You can view my bebo and feel free to add me as your friend:

What is Technorati?

Week 6 # 14 Delicious

I created an account on delicious.com. Not sure if I will use this site again, but I like the way I can bookmark my favourite URLs in my account. It would be easy for me to log on to delicious and access them instead of adding new windows to type their URL one at a time.

What did I discover on BookLoversWiki?
This site was created by Princeton Public Library for their customers to add reviews on their favorite books. The site is easy to load and simple to access. I liked the Index Reviews for each genre, this is easy to manage in a way that I can click on it and directs me to reviews on that particular genre. In the Biography and Memoir there is a review on the Beatles, who marked the 20th century with their music.

I looked at some Library related blogs and had some experience which I want to share.

Week 3#8 - Rollyo Rollyo Read All about it

Creating this search engine was a challenge, but I finally got there. I think this is a great tool to use. It stores some of my favourite sites on my homeland making life easy. If I forget one URL, this search engine will link me to that URL in no time. Why not take a moment of your precious time checking out my homeland.

Week 3: Play Week

I googled images of Luciano Pavarotti and copied two that I thought was nice to have on my blog. I then played with these images on www.imagechef.com. There were lots of interesting ways of playing around with images on imagechef. My favourite category was Frames and that's what I used to add the pics. of Pavarotti on my blog.
